Steve Zenone
My work moves across three areas that look unrelated from the outside: leadership and cybersecurity, personal long-form writing, and electronic music released as ZenOne.
What holds them together is a small set of recurring interests: systems and how they fail, identity and how it holds, pressure and what it reveals, perception, and craft. Security work and music production both reward patience with detail. Writing about estrangement and writing about decision-making both come down to being honest about what is actually happening.
Each project is written for a distinct audience, and I keep them separate on purpose. This site is simply the index that connects them.
